Additional Information
*I aggressively utilize technology to provide strong communication with my students and parents. I keep parents actively informed of all class activities through the CMS Wiki Site, facebook page and email newsletter. While at A.L. Brown, I actively used a dedicated website to keep parents, students, and the community informed about the activities of the A.L. Brown Bands. I also published a weekly email newsletter that went out to students, parents, school and district administration, and band alumni to better keep them informed of current events. In 2002, I delivered a presentation at the North Carolina Middle School Conference on how to use technology as a way to improve communication with parents and students.
